`JAMIE JARDINE
The biggest struggle I face in my artistic endeavors is the urge to create with consistency... or a "style". My work often revolves around the the landscape but occasionally takes a turn into abstraction. In recent years, I have returned to some of my childhood interests and transferred them onto the canvas. What I have realized, is that the inconsistencies in my art is my constant. I am the happiest when I can give a painting a life of its own... one that isn't necessarily tied to the previous work... or the next. I take great pride in following whatever direction presents itself to me and I follow through to the best of my ability.
